4. Data Sources
LawLedger is an independent private service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any court or government authority. Court information may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable and must be verified before professional reliance.
Supported court information may be obtained from public court websites and third-party court-data services. For example:
- Punjab & Haryana High Court: the official public source at highcourtchd.gov.in
- Public court portal: ecourts.gov.in
- Third-party court-data API: may supply public case information; it is not a government website
Source labels and observation times shown in the app identify the route used for a result. LawLedger does not alter an official source or make a stored observation an official court record.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Application and database services are hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in India
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)

- Authentication uses JWT tokens with automatic expiry
