Official sources explained
Use the official court record to verify a matter's current status and listing. LawLedger keeps the working date and source details beside your tracked matter; court-source refreshes are initiated by the lawyer.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court publishes case status, cause lists and daily orders at phhc.gov.in. This is the primary authoritative source for case listings and hearing dates.
Check any matter using its CNR number at ecourts.gov.in. The CNR (Case Number Record) uniquely identifies a case across all district and high courts in India.
Keep your saved date, source details and next action together. Hearing reminders use the saved date; refresh court information explicitly and verify the current listing on the official service.
When a source is unavailable
When a source cannot be checked, LawLedger preserves the last known information and displays the failure. It does not turn missing data into a confident court conclusion.
Current scope
LawLedger is validated first for independent litigators practising before the Punjab and Haryana High Court. District automation is enabled only after a named source passes its own accuracy and completeness checks. At the district level this currently covers theAmritsar District Court.
Unsupported matters can still be maintained manually. LawLedger does not provide legal advice, guarantee a listing, or replace verification against the official court record.

Common questions
Check P&H HC case status on the official High Court service, using the full case details or CNR where supported. LawLedger shows the source and last-checked time for court information available on a tracked matter. Court-source refreshes are initiated by the lawyer; check the official record before relying on a case-specific update.
The P&H HC cause list shows matters listed before a court for a particular day. Check the current official list for the case number, court and item number, including any revised or supplementary list. LawLedger can show a personal view for tracked matters when supported source data is available; saved-date reminders do not confirm that a matter is listed.
Yes. LawLedger supports all advocates practising before the Punjab and Haryana High Court, whether based in Chandigarh, Punjab or Haryana. The court operates from its principal seat at Chandigarh and has jurisdiction across both states.
Yes. LawLedger schedules hearing reminders from the date saved for a tracked matter, subject to your notification settings and device permission. A reminder is a planning prompt, so verify the current listing and case record with the court.
When the official source cannot be checked, LawLedger preserves the last known information and shows the failure clearly. It does not display a blank result as "not listed" — an unavailable source is labelled Unavailable, not treated as a court conclusion.
The Free plan allows up to ten active saved cases. Pro allows up to 150 active saved cases, subject to the current in-app entitlement and any launch override. Saved-date hearing reminders are available, but court-source refresh is lawyer initiated rather than recurring background monitoring.
